These are so delicious and you should give them a go. These are made with the traditional moroccan warka sheets but if you can’t find them, you can use phyllo dough. If not just follow my blog and a recipe will be up in not so long. You can fill these with anything in your hearts desire. These a just filled with vegetables, but you can add shrimp, tuna or chicken if you like. I baked these rather than fried them, the healthy way and they come out as good if not better. They are crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside.


1 zucchini

2 carrots

Half an onion

Salt and pepper

Olive oil

Shredded cheese

How to:

Grate the carrots and the zucchini and finely chop the onion. Add to a skillet along with some olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-10 minutes.


Grate cheese and mix with the vegetables.


Cut the warka sheets into strips and start filling.

Cook in the oven at 200°C until golden. Turn over and cook until golden on both sides if necessary.
